The Iconic Right Bank

 The Iconic Right Bank

Same store right bank left bank but not the same architecturally. The right bank is known for being very touristy and having a "bling bling" side, while the left bank has that cultural side, especially with the intellectual quarter.

Le Bon Marché and La Samaritaine belong to the LVMH group, but the two stores are nothing alike in terms of service and clientele.

Back to the Right Bank:

Opposite us is Artcurial, an auction house selling expensive modern art as well as cars, a very luxurious place owned by the Dassault family

Gucci was Keering's first house.

Each house has its own identity with its own DNA, which helps to characterize the brand.

Continuing our visit, we came across the Courèges house, a house that made its name with Vinil, so that's its DNA, for Gucci it's dead horse.

Keering tried to buy Dolce Gabanna, which was an independent brand.

Chloé is owned by richemond with the opening of "seebychloe", which has made more money.

In this avenue there's a mix of Haute couture and gastro restaurant, they're both on the same level

Ralph lauren not completely luxury, his Left Bank mansion has an American food restaurant, the meat comes directly from the ralph lauren ranch, which is interesting in terms of the company's strategy.

Arletti not in the luxury price range

Dior the first to arrive at Montaigne, dragging all the other houses including the plaza athénée original house at 15 in: museum, child, restau run by Jean Himbert, just finished its restoration,

Dior, 28, when you buy you live an experience, at Dior you need exclusivity: they created a suite accessible only if customer Chopard did the same at 1 Place Vendôme opened a hotel: impossible to find nor to visit similarly accessible only if customer

⁃ Hyper-exclusive is the trend

⁃ Ysl right across from Dior, big competition

Louis Vuitton avenue Montaigne never anyone, quiet service Avenus des Champs Elysées = show Time - small buyers want the logo big buyers only want the quality

⁃ Dior plaza athénée, chef Alain ducast (3⭐️) traditional cuisine, evolving tastes and palace clientele and then a different dna from all of them allowing to stand out allows to identify - Alain ducast replaced because little known, by Jean Himbert (1⭐️)knows many personality like Beyoncé. This allows us to talk about the hotel, and therefore the advertising.

⁃ Jean himbert would appear dressed in Dior in front of the palace for the ad recalling the plaza and Dior for whom he works

⁃ Cuisine Jean Himbert: foie gras, caviar, champagne, homar, truffle, lobster, porcini - takes traditional dishes and makes them luxurious

Total number of palaces in Paris: 12.

Plaza Athénée arrived just after Dior on Avenue Montaigne, and a suite was created. Celebrities and their clientele stay in these palaces, especially during Fashion Week.

The Ritz is not a palace as some may think, it's not recognized as such, it's only a hotel particulier.

Beefbar concept of meat only in exceptional places

Émile Garcin luxury real estate - interesting because you earn 7% of the sale always being in the most luxurious places.

⁃ Bulgari (lvmh), jewelry, hotel creation to innovate in the customer experience
