The Luxurious Right Bank

The same stores on the right as on the left, but not at all the same, the targets aren't the same :  -  Right bank is more bling bling because it's very touristy   - Left bank + academic, intellectual side   Which groups do the luxury brands belong to?    - Le bon marché and samaritaine belong to LVMH, service and all that has nothing to do with it.  - Gucci is the first house of Kering -> Gucci's DNA: the buckle found on every bag.  - Chloé belongs to Richemont , Si by Chloé works better than Chloe  - Loewe is Spanish and owned by LVMH  - Chanel is owned by the Vertimer brothers, Chanel DNA: tweed, pencil skirts, black and white, camellia, pearl necklace  - Saint Laurent: Kering  - Loro Piana belongs to LVMH, DNA: cashmere, the most beautiful cashmeres  - Tiffany: LVMH bought out 15.8 billion  - Bvlgari: LVMH  - Cartier belongs to Richemont, DNA: panther, burgundy, green, 3-gold ring  - Mont...
Right bank:  During this trip we were able to discover in more detail the right bank.  The right bank is located north of the Seine.  It is famous for its reputation as a more tourist area compared to the left bank; it is also said to be more sophisticated and conservative than the other bank. I felt a great elegance and a lot of modernity.  When one evokes the Right Bank, one immediately sees the images of the Place Vendôme, the Champs-Elysées and the Opéra Garnier.  It is a place where luxury, elegance and culture come together.  We can find luxury boutiques like Gucci, Dolce Gabanna, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Loewe, Fendi and more.  Some shops belong to the Richemont or LVMH groups, each wanting to be a leader in their market and therefore obviously be present in the best locations. The Palaces are very numerous among them we can mention the Mandarin Oriental, Georges V, Plaza Athénée and more. In these prestigious places, exclusiv...
The fabulous discovery of right bank.  In this journey we visited so many famous stores, each one more impressive than the other. What was very outstanding and quite funny is that we didn't have to take more than two steps between stores,  there were on all sides!  As I didn't live in Paris before my studies, I never walked or seen such beautiful stores, window shop or Paris famous places before whereas it has always been my dream ! Thanks to this forenoon, I learned so many things about various luxury brands or palaces and it was very interesting. For instance I didn't know that LVMH owned so much companies such as Christian Dior, Givenchy, Guerlain and many other brands. Moreover, I also discovered and learned about Paris right bank places like "Le triangle d'or" in the Champs Elysées in the 8th district. then we had to emphasize on the differences between right bank and left bank and I would say, in my opinion, that right bank is more famous, more elegant ...

My walk on the Right bank

As a reminder, the right bank includes several districts of Paris, notably the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th.      There are important shopping districts, such as the Champs-Élysées, the Opéra district, the famous Avenue Montaigne and the Marais district, which offers a multitude of fashion and design boutiques.      During this walk, we started by exploring all of Avenue Montaigne and its department stores such as the Dior flagship, Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Loro Piana, Givenchy, Tiffany and co, which all belong to the LVMH group. But we also stopped in front of Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent which belong to the Kering group, or even Chloé which belongs to the Richemont group. We were able to discover that certain houses remain independent such as Courrèges or Dolce Gabanna which is trying to be bought by Kering.      Then, we stopped in front of the Plaza Athénée, which ...

The treasures of the Right Bank

The Right Bank of Paris is a true treasure for lovers of luxury, an experience that awakens the senses and reveals a fascinating facet of the City of Lights. Traveling through this part of the French capital, one can not only soak up the opulence and elegance, but also learn a lot about the refinement, history and know-how that characterize the world of luxury. Several luxury places particularly struck me during my exploration of the Right Bank. Place Vendôme is one of those emblematic places, where the windows of haute couture boutiques and jewelers sparkle with luxurious creations. Viewing sparkling jewelry pieces and designer dresses highlights the attention to detail and expertise required to produce such works of art. By seeing them in person, you can truly appreciate the meticulous work of the artisans who craft these unique pieces. The Ritz Paris, one of the most prestigious hotels in the world, embodies luxury at its peak. As soon as you enter its doors, you are enve...

The really interessing right Bank

Ambre LUCAT   During our visit to the luxury district, we walked along the right bank. Firstly, we observed the distinctions between the right bank and the left bank. The right bank is considered more superficial, while the left bank is seen as more cultural. They certainly have their own unique characteristics and differ in various aspects. For instance, even if it's the same brand, the expectations of customers on different banks are not the same, and the aesthetics of the boutique vary. Buyers on the right bank tend to have smaller budgets, while on the left bank, it's quieter, with less crowd, and brands don't necessarily need to prominently display logos in their stores because these customers prioritize comfort and quality. On the right bank, we discussed the various fashion houses that were along our route and what they represent (their DNA), their creators, and so on. We saw the following houses: Courrège, Gucci, D&G, Chloé, Ralph Lauren, Loewe, Fendi, Chanel...

My tour to the Right Bank

The right bank of Paris is the part of the city located east of the Seine and often described as "bling-bling", while the left bank is the part located west of the Seine and often described as more cultural, calmer. The Right Bank is known for being the historic and commercial heart of Paris, home to many famous monuments, lively neighborhoods and cultural institutions. I had the chance to discover in more depth the history of a part of the right bank which is: Avenue Montaigne. Avenue Montaigne is renowned for its luxury boutiques, luxury hotels, chic restaurants and renowned cultural institutions. It is often considered one of the most elegant and exclusive avenues in Paris. We started our tour of the right bank with the Gucci house, you should know that the DNA of the house is represented by the loop. Then the Dolce & Gabana house was bought by Kering because the group wanted to buy all the major Italian brands. We were able to see the major houses belonging to the L...

The famous right shore

The famous Right shore The city of Paris is divided in two parts : The right shore and the left shore. This two shore are very different they do not symbolize the same thing. The right shore symbolize luxury, opulence and it's more bling bling than left shore. And the left shore symbolize the culture and a place for the intellectual. This difference between this two shore is noticeable even in the stores, it's important to know that the both shore can own the same stores, but the strategy and targets are completely differents. But let's focus on the Right Shore. I recently went visited some places of the right Bank. the First location was "The Avenue Montaigne" is really the symbol of luxury and the bling bling, this Avenue concentrates all the luxury brands shops but not only we can find palace like the Plaza Athénée or luxurious Hotel like the Four Seasons, George V. My trip to the Right Bank

The Right Bank of Paris      Paris is known as the city of love. I can’t deny it but in my opinion, Paris is not only the city of love but also the city of fashion and luxury. I’m lucky to live in Paris and be able to discover this incredible city. Even though I was born there, I don't pay much attention to everything in this town, but we never know enough.       Rencently, i took a little trip to the Right Bank of Paris. I visited some famous locations, especially related to fashion and luxury. Indeed, I went to the 8th arrondissement, with Avenue Montaigne and Avenue Champs Elysée. I’ve learned many thing about the history of some brands such as their dna, every brands have their own “identity”, the type of client and how brand attracts people. They all have one goal, is to create “EXPERIENCE” for the client. Dior   has created an apartment only accessible to buyers, to make them feel special. By creating experiences, the client will feel...
